Marks merger with NAPCO Security Systems
On Monday, August 18, 2008, Marks USA merged with NAPCO Security Systems of Amityville, New York.
The company will become a wholly owned subsidiary of NAPCO, and I will remain as president of the subsidiary. Bill Sporre will continue running Sales and Marketing, and Donna Gallagher will continue to manage Purchasing. The effect of this merger will serve to enhance out ability to increase production, while providing an additional source of in-house technology for our electronic products. Our operations will continue from our Amityville factory with no interruption of service.
Our operating philosophy will continue as before with respect to our sales representatives, contract hardware and locksmith distributors as well as our OEM customers. There will be positive changes with respect to our ability to broaden our product line.
The merger also creates a stronger financial base for the company with combined sales anticipated to exceed $100 million annually.
We look forward to a future of more growth and opportunity for ourselves and our customers.
